In September 2016 the new Audi Q5 was launched in the Audi City Showroom in Berlin. The cologne based agency Uniplan developed a concept which staged the idea of »Interruptions«. A clean and pure gallery space is transformed into an ecclectic, colorful and creative environment by the artist Anton Unai. The task was to develop, design and animate according motiondesign content for the vast screen walls crossing the gallery space. The main piece of content was a ramp sequence, that would dramatically build up over 5 minutes and kick-off the art performance of Anton Unai.
The main visual metaphore was the »Lane of Innovation«. A three dimensional visual abstraction of a real Audi production and finishing lane. This lane was constantly interrupted by short color flashes and quick escapes into various graphic worlds inspired by the Q5 main attributes such as quattro, the sculptural design or connectivity features.
